She was a good person who went out of her way to point out that her mom had wrongfully accused him. She didn’t stand loyal to her moms lie. That’s an indication of good character on her part. And that man probably appreciated that it took a little backbone for her to do that. His wife probably appreciated it as well.

I respectfully disagree. There is a certain amount of credibility to be gained, and potential conversions to the conservative cause to be had, if the message is coherently and cogently articulated by someone with an intellectual pedigree. I think the only person remotely doing that today, if only tangentially for the conservative cause, is Jordan Peterson. We conservatives have for too long rejected intellectual allies, and the movement today is profoundly anti-intellectual.
