USS FORD CARRIER STRIKE GROUP SAILS UNDER NATO COMMAND IN THE HIGH NORTH

NORWEGIAN SEA – In a continued sign of transatlantic unity, the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) came under NATO command today while preparing to conduct activities in the Norwegian Sea with other maritime forces from Allied Nations. The Ford is on a scheduled deployment to the European Theater.

This transfer of authority to Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO (SFN) demonstrates the Alliance’s ability to integrate the high-end capabilities of a first-in-class carrier U.S., its strike group escorts, and embarked air wing during a series of planned maritime security activities and training. Norway is the host nation for these events, which will take place over the following week.

The Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group is comprised of its flagship and namesake, the Ford-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW 8), Destroyer Squadron Two (DESRON 2), the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60), and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ramage (DDG 61).

Concerted, collaborative efforts such as Gerald R. Ford’s seamless transition to NATO command reinforce the interchangeability of Allied Forces and the agility of NATO command and control structures. This transfer of authority constitutes a tangible, transparent display of advanced capabilities in all-domain operations and the defensive commitment of the NATO Alliance across Supreme Allied Commander Europe’s (SACEUR) Area of Responsibility.

NATO last assumed command of a U.S. carrier strike group in March 2023 during USS George H. W. Bush’s scheduled deployment to the Mediterranean Sea and participation in Neptune Strike 2023.

No good can come from allowing an American warship to be commanded by NATO.

This is routine. A NATO admiral has temporary command while the US Commanding Officer is in real control. Was often done back in my day in the 80s and 90s.

I still don’t like the idea. Sounds sort of symbolic anyways. However, as a hard and unbendable rule, US service men should not be under command of any other nation or organization, particularly the UN. (Even though the UN has nothing to do with this article.)

Klaus Schwab remarked on the occasion: This is great day for the NWO, the climate and bug-eaters everywhere!

Do you think the MIC and the DC deep state are doing this out of the kindness of their hearts?

Brilliant move by our “leadership” when we are on the brink of nuclear war with Russia and China. Absolutely brilliant.

Today is a day Americans should be spending fasting and praying wearing sack cloths and ashes.

Sorry but putting 4,000 brave young Americans on that huge naval surface combatant in this modern technological era is not a good idea.
