The window has closed to prevent the melting of summer Arctic Sea ice due to human-caused climate change, according to a study published Tuesday in the journal Nature Communications.
The research indicates that even under a scenario where carbon emissions are sharply curtailed, the Arctic will be “practically” ice-free in September by the middle of the 21st century. The study’s projection goes even further than the warning issued in 2021 by the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which determined there is still a chance to save the summer ice in a scenario where warming is kept below 2 degrees Celsius.
The research is also more pessimistic about the speed of ice loss, predicting the loss of summer ice by the 2030s, as opposed to the IPCC projection of the 2040s under a high- or intermediate-emissions scenario.

A Lie. Simply put. Backed by energy consortiums the greatest holder of the very “not climate gas” C02 component— Carbon.
Funny that a Feb 2023 article says the Artic sea ice is just fine. Let’s think about that. A Hill article citing “Nature Communications” vs the Feb article which had this at the last part...” Inexplicably missing from the story was the later observation from the NSIDC that since accurate satellite records began in 1979, the trend in the minimum ice extent is “near zero”. Any loss was said to be “not statistically significant”.
So, the Hill has issued its required daily climate fear porn which is as believable than any statement from the FBI or the White House.
Since the levels are unchanged thus far (some may quibble about a fraction of a millimeter), the ridiculous lie is apparent.
Fast forward to the present...
If less ice is seen in the arctic, then we need confirmation by several independent sources, as we have absolutely no reason, at all, to trust a "climate study".
File this under “It’s worse than we thought!” There will be more of this genre as time goes on.
Actors are just warming up for the big COP show in a few months, this time to be held in an Arab oil state!
And next winter will be record ice.
