Fox News legal analyst Jonathan Turley says former President Trump could die in prison if convicted on just one count after being indicted by the Justice Department last week on dozens of charges related to his handling of classified documents.
“The problem is, he’s got to run the table — he’s 76 years old,” Turley, a former opinion contributor for The Hill, said of Trump during an appearance on Fox News. “All the government has to do is stick the landing on one count, and he could have a terminal sentence. You’re talking about crimes that have a 10- or 20-year period as a maximum.”
Turley said the evidence laid out against Trump in the indictment revealed last week is “quite strong.”

Conviction or not this will go to supreme court to many issue at play here president is not a normal person...he is the author of classification...it will take years Trump won’t spend a day in jail...this is all political...this is how banana republics work using the law as a weapon...another prosecutor could have passed on this...that shows you that it is not serious.
Turley’s getting paid by FOX, so he’s saying that he’s paid to say.
They don't have to PROVE ANYTHING>>..they just have to have an ANTI-TRUMP jury! period.
The weaponization of the DOJ is real. Garbage charges exist and sometimes they stick. This should go to SCOTUS and any conviction should be thrown out 9-0.
I just think Turkey is doing a “what if” scenario.
1. The indictment, if true, is very bad news for Trump, and
2. This case never should have been brought.

It’s all political BS. But if they incarcerate Trump for even one day. I predict armed patriots will storm the Bastille and break him out.
You hear it everywhere, in private, in gun stores, in bars, etc.
People know a civil war is coming. People are angry and have put up with too much for too long. That volcano is gonna blow. And I think putting Trump in a cell is going to be the straw that broke the camel’s back for some out there.

Doubt it. The case is a house of cards. One count gets taken down the rest fall away. And do they really want to set this as a precedent? Lets hope the judge is fair and just.
It’s all going to the SC. Turley needs new pearls to clutch
