Another example of a Supreme Court justice using talking points not based on reality to push narrative rather than facts.

Even if this were correct, it would not at all relate to the issues in this case.

Weird eh? False claims about “gay” incidents. In our town “they” are having some sort of get together about matthew sheppard being murdered for being gay. Except IIRC it was actually a drug deal gone bad and the perps didn’t give a crap he was gay or not.

She has always been a selfish, arrogant type who thinks her personal biases should be the interpretation of the laws. She has vitually no knowledge of law as several critics have pointed out as her contributions to legal rulings almost never cited precedents. Her bias rules.

As to this current statement, I submit she is a lying, dog faced pony soldier.

Her emotional outburst is the precise opposite of scholarship.

Some people can have impaired reasoning abilities.

Sotomayor seems to have that problem.

Times have changed, it's a brave new world, you are just going to have to learn to be a little more flexible and stop holding on to those rigid principles and high standards. After all She/It is a Double Protected Classe, minority and woman female Birthing person

So frustrated that nincompoop made Supreme Court Judge. I expect for years we will see moronic statements and liberal leaning votes on cases from her so leftist the Tower of Pisa looks straight.

Remember that each Justice has four clerks. Usually one will work on a certain opinion. So, this comment was either included by a clerk from the beginning or written by Sotomayor and the clerk didn’t even bother to fact check it. Says a lot.

Well, the Pulse nightclub located location has become a shrine to perversion. I think lots of the homo-pedo-lesbo crowd is trying to get it placed on the map of must-see spectacles on the road to Ditzzy-World.
Orlando law enforcement leadership rolled-over early on this slaughter and hugged (LOL) the LGBTQIP+ players. It made the inaction of the police (think Parkland massacre) just vanish from the news headlines.
Come to think of it, Pulse massacre was quite similar to Uvalde school shooting. Police on the scene seemed to think that they should not go in until all until shooting was over.
So, who was really persecuting the students at Parkland, the children at Uvalde, the patrons at Pulse? It sure looks like the LEOs (in these cases) were too willing to sit on their hands in their front-row seats.
And that is starting to look like a silent conspiracy.
(Didn’t mean to hi-jack the thread, but ...)

You mean a left-wing judge would use fake facts in her argument?

I’m shocked.

“Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor falsely claimed in a new opinion for a major same-sex wedding case that the 2016 mass shooting at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, was motivated by anti-gay prejudice.”

And just what is the price of tea in China today, Justice?
