Animals’ throats are slit all over the world, and it has always been done by every religion. People eat animals, including probably you. (And there are people who believe that any slaughter of animals for food is ‘barbaric’.)

Incendiary? No that's what is going on all over France in the past couple of days.
If you find that objectionable, maybe you should just avoid the news from France, or maybe you could actually do something like help them put the fires out.

This no more barbaric than a hunter. The stabling is a crime.
I am a committed carnivore, and I know the animals I eat had to be killed somehow, but I have confidence they that were killed quickly.
