Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in mid-July that some Muslims’ opposition to LGBTQ curriculum in K-12 education is being fueled by American right-wingers, video shows.
Just when you thought Trudeau couldn’t offend any more people, or do something even stupider than that haircut he got in 2022, he outdid his own stupidity in spectacular fashion. While speaking with Muslim Canadians at a mosque in Calgary in mid-July, he seemingly lectured his constituents on why they feel the way they do about Pride events in the education system, according to a video shared on social media.
“People on social media, particularly fueled by the American right-wing, are spreading a lot of untruths about what’s actually in the provincial curriculums,” Trudeau can be seen saying in a video shared online, completely dismissing the point made by his constituent and utterly disrespecting the Muslim religion.

He’s promulgating a myth, like The Boogieman. For the audience he’s aiming at, this shorthand is just fine. It is only the rest of us who aren’t in that audience who see it as funny. He’s also sending us the message that what we think doesn’t matter. We’re irrelevant.
Everything gets blamed on American Conservatives. I’m surprised we haven’t been blamed for AGW yet. The Left is doing the same things to conservatism that they did to republicanism back a couple of decades ago. They are demonizing it to the point it will be reviled just on its name alone. There are a lot of people now in their 40’s who hear the word republican and wrinkle their nose without even listening to what the person says. They are republican that’s all that matters.

Trudeau has committed to 1.5 million new immigrants by 2025 so I guess he’s getting ready for the next election in his own special way.
And US offices established in Central and South America for migrants bound for the Rio Grande will offer some folks slots in Canada.
When one breaks the "left-right" mold into smithereens, and simply places all authoritarians on one side and more-or-less free people on the other, the authoritarians -- whatever their public labels -- all cluster correctly together. Birds of an authoritarian feather.

While conservatives look for this without having to refer to Marxist literature, the "small Left" need be informed of this through their own "scripture."
The state should wither, as governments worldwide have become too big, too powerful and too invasive alongside too expensive. So who cheers on big, expensive government? Those who suckle most at its teats. Think Barry Obama or Liz Cheney or Nancy Pelosi or Paul Ryan, and more, amassing wealth in "public service" and thereafter.
And think about all the "big money" being showered as "donations" to the Resident of the White Powder House and his party currently, because "public service" is today's avenue to untold wealth and power. Over and against its own citizens, using "public" money to do it.
