Donald Trump Renews Pledge to Purge Administrative State Employees if Reelected
Breitbart ^ | 07.17.2023 | WENDELL HUSEBØ

If former President Donald Trump wins reelection in 2024, he will work to deconstruct the administrative state, the apparatus of unelected bureaucrats in federal agencies who write binding rules with, without, or against the law.

The administrative state uses its rule-making ability to essentially usurp the separation of powers between the three branches of government by creating a so-called fourth branch of government not created by the Constitution. Nearly 2 million federal government employees in federal agencies make up the administrative state.

Trump refers to the administrative state as the “swamp” and the “deep state.”

“We will demolish the deep state,” Trump vowed at a Michigan rally in June. “We will expel the warmongers from our government. We will drive out the globalists. We will cast out the communists, Marxists and fascists. And we will throw off the sick political class that hates our country.”

We need a declaration of a state of national emergency, scaffolding, and lots of rope.

The only thing Trump could do unilaterally using a EO without legislation was what he tried to implement in the October before the 2020 election.

Use a EO to create a Schedule F (New) personnel classification employee out of the “excepted Service” Civil Service classification. Specifically, it would consist of positions that are of “a policy-determining, policymaking, or policy-advocating character not normally subject to change as a result of a Presidential transition.”. Sounds like a lot of people but it’s not the many people are hoping. Even this will be challenged in court and may require legislation to straighten out.

He can go after “Excepted Service” employees which they tried doing last term but waited too long to make it happen.

This employee class needs to be dramatically scaled back. These people are often pushed into non competitive jobs for ideological and political reasons and once there, they are almost impossible to get rid of. They can cause a lot of mischief and are largely unaccountable. If you ever wonder how an ideologue like Biden’s former disinformation czar got their job, it is usually because they were given an excepted service job for which nobody else could apply to.

just go vote for Biden, then, fool.

Thousands have already been vetted by dozens of vetters to restock the fed. employees who will be fired via a reinstated Schedule F (which Biden killed)

Dept’s eliminated (at least Educ.) , moved, downsized. Agency heads fired. The proper managers and mid-managers will clean out much of the chaff. No more Chris Christie recommendations like FBI Wray.

Trump may be our last chance to right this ship of state. I implore Trump haters to consider what WAS accomplished in 1st term, (with little F’n support from Rs) and what can be accomplished with congressional majorities that are likely to blossom with Biden wrecking the country. We’ll need all of us, because Ds and deep state won’t let go easily.

Wray was a Chris Christie recommendation. DjT admits it was a rookie mistake to listen to DC insiders.

Won’t get fooled again.

“We need a declaration of a state of national emergency”

No. Congress would supply an executive powers more broad than needed and those powers would be abused. We need to be specific and limited in authorities granted to Presidents, any Presidents.

This will N E V E R happen... Not... Ever...

There will be another civil war--maybe several--if it doesn't.

This time, the liberty of black slaves is not at issue. This time, the slaves are all colors, political parties, and religions, versus the Deep State, Deep Corporate, Deep Banking, Deep Bribery, and Deep Media. They all have to go, or we will lose all our remaining liberty. If the Deep State isn't dismantled, they will complete their dream, already in progress: The United States of Red China.

I'm not even saying there are more than a few hundred vicious men who wish for that now. The problem is that the viral structure of high-level bribery and coercion is already in place and being built out like a cloverleaf on an Interstate.

We must make the decision to rip it apart and "Build Back Bullet-Proof."

Christie was not a DC insider ... he was an old friend of Trump’s from way back.

It’s too deep, boss. But do the best you can with this dead and rotting corpse of a free nation.

The most effective way to downsize federal agencies is move them out of the DC area. Anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 will likely not move for various reasons. It will still take legislation. However, its legislation that might be easier to get passed. The only legislators fighting it will be those of Maryland and Virgina. The legislators of the gaining states will be all for it. Make DC more a museum tourist capital then a working capital.

He only filled about 30% of the open positions in his Administration and the ones he did mostly turned out to Deep State types, RINO’s or even Democrats. he is a poor picker of loyal talent.

“most effective way to downsize federal agencies is move them out of the DC area.”

This is honestly good idea that’s not been repeated enough or thought through. At the very least it should fulfill the concept of ‘distributed governance’ that was envisioned by the constitutional convention. Distributing also the government largesse that MD and VA have been suckling on for several generations.

I thought of it before but in the context of the united nations. Sell the UN building in new york and send them to meet in the worst most despicable hellholes that they created. See how fast the problems get solved.

“...he will work to deconstruct the administrative state...”

Like the lock her up slogan that never amounted to anything.

Why did he leave out "in 24 hours"?

Sort of rounds out the pipe dream.

If you really want them to leave, put them in a place where they’ll love it. Move the UN to some Caribbean nation which could use the hard currency. There they can sun themselves, drink, screw, talk, tell themselves they are important while they slide off into sun-soaked debauched irrelevancy!

Technically true, but certainly a Republican insider, with deep DC DoJ connections.

Close enough for my intents and purposes.
