HONG KONG — Chinese President Xi Jinping met with veteran U.S. diplomat Henry Kissinger in Beijing on Thursday, calling him an “old friend,” Chinese state media reported.
Xi said the visit by Kissinger, who has been to China more than 100 times and recently turned 100, had special significance because of the two “hundreds.”
Kissinger, who was Richard Nixon’s national security adviser, made a secret trip to China to 1971 that laid the groundwork for a historic trip by the president the following year and the formalization of relations between the United States and China in 1979.
“It not only changed the two countries, but also changed the world,” Xi said, according to the state-run broadcaster CCTV.

Henry Kissinger, Father Of The Deep State. He’s probably in China to help plan the breaking up of the USA and who gets what sections of the country and what to do with all the MAGA dissidents.
He was instrumental in the Paris Peace Accords that ended the Vietnam war where the South Vietnamese were guaranteed to keep their country in tact and the North stay north of the DMZ while all US combat troops left. This old commie knew the North would reinvade once US troops left and probably knew Ted Kennedy would lead the defunding of the South so the North could be victorious.
He’s a backstabber of the worst kind and his being in China is not in our best interests. Just the sound of his voice pizzes me off.

Interesting. During Yellen’s recent visit, the Chinese Government wouldn’t even offer her a lunch with a minor official. They treated Blinken similarly.
