The New York Times is being roasted online for “fear-mongering” over an article questioning whether it is “safe to go outside” this summer.
The article, headlined “Is It Safe to Go Outside? How to Navigate This Cruel Summer,” was published on Thursday and presents a “guide to determine when it’s safe to head out,” in light of the recent heat wave, flash flooding and smoke from wildfires experienced across the country.
“So you want to go outside — despite the heat, heavy rainfall and poor air quality affecting millions this summer. Here’s how to determine whether it’s safe to leave the house,” The New York Times Health section tweeted with a link to the article.
The article said the conditions have come together “to make this a summer of weather extremes in the United States, in which going outside can be riddled with perils.”

It’s consistently in the 90s where I am......and it’s always been in the 90s this time of year when am.
Covid showed me one thing though, there are far more weak minded people that can’t think for themselves in this country than I had ever imagined.
It’s all conditioning and people not desiring freedom.
Same here in Upstate NY....Temps last year were almost identical.
If you live in a Democrat-controlled city it is probably unsafe to leave your house.

Climate change is more than likely the biggest fraud to ever be perpetrated on the public.....that and you must have a covid shot......right behind that is the big lie that White Americans are racist and America is an inherently racist country.
Us patriot types are naturally suspicious and always have a side eye out for wicked men scheming to deprive us of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Most people are far too trusting, having been being trained to exercise good faith towards The Experts. THEY wouldn’t deliberately try to mislead, right?
Beware that the media is now using the proprietary term “feels like” instead of the old heat index. I have heard the feels like be 10* over the old heat index number meaning “feels like” is 15* over the actual temp. They are playing this game always. Its always, “feels like” Someone is making a bundle of $$$$$$$
And in the winter it will be the same template. Year after year after year.
Here in Alabama we had a low of 9°F and high in the teens in December last year. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it that cold in December.
And yet MILLIONS of non-whites are crossing our borders as we speak.
The use of “torched” and “roasted” is outstanding.
It is easier to brainwash urban dwellers stuck in their apartments.
Being outside with nature gives folks of all ages a feeling of strength and independence—and the mass media hates that.

As them why when the Earth is closest to the sun (Perihelion) in January it’s not as hot when the Earth is farthest from the sun (Aphelion) in July? Closer to the sun “should” be hotter, right????
I go outside every day. I have my own “feels like”. Those people have zero credibility.
This must be the first time in recorded history there was hot weather in summer.
