Biden administration proposes new rules to push insurers to boost mental health coverage
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette ^ | July 26, 2023 | The Associated Press

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden on Tuesday announced that his administration is moving forward with new rules meant to push insurance companies to increase their coverage of mental health treatments.

The new regulations, which still need to go through a public comment period, would require insurers to study whether their customers have equal access to medical and mental health benefits and to take remedial action, if necessary. The Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act requires that insurers provide the same level of coverage for both mental and physical health care — though the administration and advocates argue insurers' policies restrict patient access.

Years ago, when I’d just moved to Tallahassee a man the sheriff knew very well called 911, told them he was cutting his leg off and to send an ambulance. He had body dimorphism. (Same thing as trans, but with the leg rather than the manhood.) He cut his leg off. A reporter asked because of this man’s mental history why hadn’t the sheriff Baker acted him. The spokesman said, whoever brings in the person owes their hospital bill. If the sheriff Baker acted all the crazies in Tallahassee, they’d have no budget to do anything else.

--- "Biden administration proposes new rules to push insurers to boost mental health coverage PREMIUMS for us all"

Think this about care? It's about premiums for those paying premiums. The Democrat way, Make others pay, And then pay some more.

Don’t fund it. The mental health industry is wrecking America, promoting blame shifting, psychiatric drugs that turn you into zombies, and now sex changes.

One-on-one treatments of every type and pharmaceuticals should be affordable without third party payment.

When it comes my body, my mind, my money and my health care coverage, I should have the right to choose without government meddling.

The crazy people are drawn to immediate personal sources of power for employment. Thus they are overwhelmingly represented in politics, mental health field, and your local K-12 school system.

Well, Joe, we’re going to be working on your control issues today.

Would you like to tell me instances of when you fail to respect personal and societal boundaries?

Another back door gun confiscation scheme? Declare more and more people mentally deficient or damaged, for the purpose of banning them from Owning guns?

When Obama was president, health care officials were commanded to ask personal questions like asking whether or not there were any guns in the home, and if the person being asked was sad, or had bad thoughts etc. The Obama regime got slapped down over that I trusion, but they have been trying every which way to declare people mentally ill since then- they stil. Ask about sadness or whether or not the patient wants to harm themselves.

“If the sheriff Baker acted all the crazies in Tallahassee, they’d have no budget to do anything else.”

I see a more general problem. The crazies, poor and what have you incur the most medical expenses and pay the least into our healthcare system. Same for law enforcement and other government services.

I just reread the U.S. Constitution and I didn’t see anything about healthcare, mental healthcare, or government forcing any business to sell something. Whil I agree there is a mental health problem in America, it’s not a problem government at any level can solve or will solve. If anything, government will make it worse.
