So now we know John Dean believes that we really do have a corrupt banana republic style "democracy". One where candidates that are not approved by some group of party insiders are relentlessly persecuted and have the full force of the government used against them.
Apparently John Dean wants a corrupt government where political opponents are jailed and even violent politically allied rioters are not prosecuted, and where former Presidents get arrested for trumped up charges.
That John Dean believes that is somehow not surprising unfortunately.
I had the TV on the day he sat there and threw Nixon under the bus and ran over him in the process!
Whatever you might think of Nixon, it was sickening to see this snake do more than answer questions.... he threw everything up that he could.. I thought he was a snake then and he is a snake today.
