Biden’s Grand Gift to Putin
national review ^ | 8/9/2023 | editors

Joe Biden just solidified Russia’s near-monopoly on global uranium production. Using the Antiquities Act of 1906, Biden declared a national monument on 1 million acres of uranium-rich Arizona land, rendering hundreds of uranium deposits unmineable.

America spends $1 billion annually on Russian uranium. U.S. nuclear reactors use uranium that comes from the Russian nuclear company Rosatom, which also supplies missile fuel to Russia’s military. Domestic uranium production has bipartisan support, as did the ban on Russian oil and gas imports in 2022 after Russia invaded Ukraine. The Senate last week added an almost-unanimous amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act to support domestic uranium production and enrichment. Biden himself supports domestic mining efforts in theory, and House Energy and Commerce Committee chairwoman Cathy Rodgers called reliance on Russian energy imports “one of the most urgent security threats America faces.”

Yet national security is apparently second fiddle to this monument, or what Interior Secretary Deb Haaland called an “eternal home, a place of healing and a source of spiritual sustenance” for Native Americans. The Antiquities Act stipulates that executives can only designate “the smallest area compatible with the proper care and management of the objects to be protected.” The Supreme Court will likely consider the act in coming years, and Chief Justice John Roberts has questioned the scope of presidential power to federalize millions of acres of land.

They should use the Antiquities Act on half of Congress and put them in cells for safekeeping.

Whatever Biden can do to put this country into worse shape, he is on it.

You are correct.

Just a fun fact, Rosatom is busy building in Africa.
Namibia is in progress.

Enjoy our decline.

If Biden can waive a prior president’s Executive Privilege, the next president can surely waive this.

What Hillary didn’t ‘trade’ to the Russians, Biden took off the market.

Does anyone really believe Biden’s working for our side? The side of OUR country? And the employment Biden brags about? That was set up by Trump sun-setting stupid regulations that hurt companies. None of it was done by Biden.

The only people Biden helps are white liberals, black criminals, China, Ukraine, Romania and every sexual weirdo/pervert group in the United States.

I noticed this,
Between Clinton selling 20% of our uranium to Clinton Fund donor buddy mine magnate Canadian Frank Giustra ( Uranium One scandal) and this…now we get to depend on Russia, Kazakhstan, Africa…for uranium in competition with the rest of the world

I guess the green legion plans to take out nuc power as well as “ fossil fuels”

Placing this in context, and with the awareness that every WIKI page is edited, one reads:
"A conspiracy theory launched during the 2016 presidential election campaign accused Bill Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, Hillary Clinton, the Obama administration, high level officials in Russia, the State Department, Uranium One, and the FBI of allegedly compromising national-security interests, bribery, and suppressing evidence. All parties have denied the accusations, and no evidence of wrongdoing has been found after five years of allegations, an FBI investigation, a House Intelligence Committee inquiry, and the 2017 appointment by the Justice Department of the U.S. Attorney in Utah, John Huber, to evaluate the FBI investigation. Huber's inquiry ended in January 2019 without any findings of consequence.

Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uranium_One

The clever entry and wording tells two things. 1) First and most obvious in the sense of the editing, this remains a "conspiracy theory," which is intended to be a pejorative. 2) The facts are in the paragraph anyway.

Players in the Uranium One deal were "Bill Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, Hillary Clinton, the Obama administration, high level officials in Russia, the State Department, Uranium One..." And Holder as AG and Holdren as Obama science advisor were also involved. The "deal" was concluded, and Uranium One won.

Fast forward, and we see the Biden (Obama;s third term) administration continuing in the same direction. As to that "conspiracy theory," since the government judged the government's own actions to not be a threat to security, it is a "theory" ONLY in the sense that the government gave itself a pass.

Now with the Ukraine-Russia war, these same jackasses cannot figure what to do. Except shoot America in the foot once again.

Depends who it is.

Trump reversed Obama aand Clinton monuments abuse.

Bush did nothing, and in fact extended the monuments scope.

Conflicting goals: ID politics vs. “punishing Putin.” Unfortunately, the media is not interested in shining a light on Biden’s dilemma. NPR talks about “environment” and “indigenous peoples” but not Putin in their article. Looks like the opposite of Hillary’s scandal about giving control of uranium to Russia.

The People, in their stupidity, complement, aid and abet the Regime. They had President Trump. But they got rid of him in the election of 2020. and traded him for Lying Joe Biden. The People and Joe deserve each other. It is a match made in Hell.

One could blame the half of the population that supports this garbage.

But by that logic, one must also blame the Republican voters who tolerate false “leaders” that don’t actually oppose any of this stuff, or do anything.

Retarded. Biden’s idiotic sop to the environmentalists and Indians stands alone in it’s stupidity.

Must every decision in America be weighed and decided as to whether or not it harms Russia?
