When senile joe went on TV a few years ago and bragged about with holding a BILLION DOLLARS of US aid {our tax money} from the Ukraine unless the Ukraine gummint fired the prosecutor that had the goods on Bursima/Hunter, that was an open admission {confession}of performing a service for a bribe.
Any sentient human can see that, but senile joe didn't think he did any thing to be jailed for, rather he bragged about it.
A TV talking head that can't/won't admit that basic fact should be fired for plain stupidity.
Their job as ‘free press’ is to hold the government accountable. When you listen to them, their shear lack of curiosity respective to only one party is more than obvious. You can’t have one segment where “Trump is a clear criminal...because words” and then ignore the first person testimony, banks records, audio recordings, etc.. on the Biden family with the result being “we see no proof”. Yeah, because you refuse to even look.
What is astonishing is that they seem to believe nobody notices. The only question I really have is, how long has this been the case? The mask definitely seems to have dropped over the last decade but it really begs the question...

How long? For a generation. And probably even beyond. They have just gotten exponentially more radical and dishonest over the past three decades.
They pretended not to notice the Clintons’ corruption. They lied about GWB and fabricated “evidence” (Dan Rather Memogate) against him. With Obama they became overcome with their adoration and worship and any ethics they might have still retained went ‘bye bye’ in defense of their clean and articulate tin god.
It has been an ever-increasing pattern and transition to “Pravda” status for decades.
