I never did either and in fitting form with what I suppose was my sheltered, omega male lifestyle, I would not have even known where to get it.

Guess I ran with the “wrong” crowd.

I’m a little surprised by the high percentage of Republicans who lied on this questionnaire.

LOL, indeed!

I never tried it, but I do like the smell. Parties in Alaska in the ‘70s ...

I’m sure you have taken note of how sycophantic the government is. It rails against the harmful effects of tobacco smoke but not a word is said about what weed smoke does to the lungs. At the same time, there are quixotic air alerts about the Canadian forest fire smoke warning us to stay in our houses.

I too have never done any drugs.
God and my parents gave me a fantastic mind and I don’t really like anything playing with it.
As far as alcohol, 1 or 2 a month is my max...again for the same reason.
Probably one of the reasons I am in such good shape at almost 70.

I took one puff when I was a teen and it seemed stupid.
Now decades later, I am sure glad I dodged that bullet too.

At the tender age of 76 I can say I have NEVER tried marijuana. And only smoked two cigarettes. At the age of four and 10. Nasty stuff! Never wanted to try it again.

Tried chewing tobacco once as an adult. Got so sick I had to take off work. Never again!

The question of whether or not the drug war is being properly fought is justifiable.
The fact that this much of our money is being spent under that guise is continually absurdly overwhelming.

Seems the fed-funding problem won a lottery style jackpot
while the fed-defined problem never increased significantly!

Things to make me go - hmmm...

To all on here, please study US history, it’s time we throw
out the crooks and their schemes, defund all that is
unconstitutional and return to the 3 original agencies
(War Dept, Treasury) in our free Republic.

DoD name reverts back to War Dept to remind everyone -
We only go to war as a last resort to maintaining peace.

Old days: I went to a working class high school in suburban Pittsburgh, the kind of school that basically fed kids to the steel mills. You couldn’t go to the bathroom without taking a hit - there was always a crowd smoking it in them. We elected the biggest dope dealer in the school class president - couldn’t have a 10 year reunion because he was in prison. I heard he got saved and straight further on in life.....hope so.

Modern times: We went to visit family at a major southern university campus. Everywhere you went you smelled “skunk”. I was humming the “Dead Skunk” song the whole time even though I knew it wasn’t really skunk.

I don’t think times have changed all that much - it’s just more in the open than it used to be.

“Dead Skunk”

As is a song by Loudon Wainwright III? I remember Dr Demento playing that song.
