Still rather expensive, as is VinFast, still waiting for some truly affordable choices.
(Should be some really cheap ones soon)
Does this have anything to do with anything related to America or Americans?
Danang me, Danang me,
Just take a Hyundai car and stang me
Collision with a tree—
Woman, would you weep for Me?
(Bup bup bup bupppa bupa bupppa bow...)
Well I am American
😎
Starting price is roughly $54,000. I don’t see Vietnam as a very large market for a car with that price.
CC
There should ne several very soon at, and below, 10,000
One even at 5,000
But they are still building the factory for that
🙂
And how does this relate to you?
I am American, I live in Vietnam, I have a (very, very) basic EV and I am looking for someone to finally make one.
Allegedly there might be at least three cheap ones in the next few months…
I was originally thinking one might be ready by now.
Nothing yet, that is in my price range.
(Below $10,000)
🙂
The exchange rate of a Viet Nam dung is 23,ooo to one USD. Staring cost of a fake electric car 57k USD.
You figure it out my Dollar Store computer doesn’t go that high.
So, will the gubmint be locating the chargers in rice paddies?
it’s part of world news.
Did you ever see any of the amusement park rides in northeast VN? Some came from Myrtle Beach, SC after their Hard Rock Park went out of business.
Some rides from Myrtle Beach, SC are at Dragon Park, Ha Long Quang Ninh, Vietnam. Other rides went to Sun World Danang Wonders.
Not much of a arcade-riding fan, sorry.
There are a slew of cheaper electric cars due soon.
Thing is Vietnam won’t just bring them in to sell from China, they actually want to learn how to make them then bring in the foreign partner in conjunction with a local partner, to learn to build things in Vietnam.
That makes us slower to get the very most current products, but is a good alternate approach which seems to be done here.
It does help the country to advance the manufacturing capabilities.
Sure wish they would hurry up just a tiny bit, though
😎
