Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that special counsel Jack Smith had “almost a slam dunk” case against former President Donald Trump with the classified documents charges.
Anchor Kasie Hunt said, “So, let’s talk now about the presidential race. We are 72 hours from the first Republican presidential debate. It’s going to be missing the front-runner, Donald Trump, the former president. He is facing federal charges over his efforts to overturn the election. And you did vote to convict him in his impeachment trial after January 6, you said, quote, because he is guilty. The former Attorney General Bill Barr says that the charges that have been brought against him are responsible. Do you agree?”

At some point in the future, Donald Trump will no longer be forefront in Republican politics. And the Republicans are going to look and sound like executives at Bud Light, trying to explain where their base went. The only question will be, what political entity will be the receiving party for the Trump voters?
Cassidy should go back to practicing medicine. He converted his registration from Democrat to Republican, but he kept his Democratic politics, tempered with a small observance of his Louisianan constituents and what is important to them. He likes the camera a lot, and shoots his mouth off before thinking through his words.

Senator Bill Cassidy was reelected in 2020 with 59.3% of the vote. His closest challenger was a Democrat who received only 19% of the vote.

So that means Bidenskyyyyyy is going to swing for committing the same “slam dunk” that President Trump is accused of committing. In fact, cases against El Bama and Slick Willie should be “slam dunks” too. Would be nice if they swing Hillary for having those 500 FBI files. When we gonna see some action on those slick? Can’t the DOJ “multi-task”?
I absolutely will not vote for ANYONE who is not in support of “MAKING AMERICAN GREAT AGAIN”. by the way, when these clowns refer to “”MAGA”, why aren’t they asked quizzically, “what does that mean” and MAKE them say it. Especially the liar and thief who doesn’t have a clue what MAGA stands for.
