GOP presidential candidate Chris Christie predicted that former President Trump’s trial date related to the federal Jan. 6 case will be “disastrous” for the Republican Party.
“I think for Republican voters, the biggest thing they have to look at now is that we’re gonna have a guy running for president who, from March 4 probably for the next four to six weeks, will be every day in a courtroom in Washington D.C. and not campaigning against Joe Biden,” Christie, the former governor of New Jersey, told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “The Lead.”
“This is disastrous for the Republican Party,” he continued. “And this is why I’ve been saying right from the time I got into the race, that given his personal conduct, given the stuff that he did himself, that he simply can’t be our nominee.”

Christie criminally closed down an major artery out of spite in a political dispute, and visited a public beach after he had state troopers close them to the public, and he has the nerve to call Trump a criminal. The best thing Christie can do for the country and the party is STFU.
Christie is a very negative purpose...part of his personality.
The reason it will destroy the party is because Republicans are doing absolutely nothing to stand up to this tyranny. If Trumps crimes were so egregious, it would not have taken 2+ years to charge him.
The GOP at EVERY level needs to circle the wagons around Trump, just like the Dems are doing around the corrupt Bidens. The House needs to begin an impeachment inquiry yesterday into the Biden corruption.
And trans kids, rampant crime, and unlimited illegal immigration is a boon for the democrats. Actually, it seems like it is.
