National Hispanic Heritage Month officially kicks off Sept. 15

The Hispanic celebratory month starts on the 15th? Talk about embracing the manana spirit.

It’s not a White person thing. It’s simply that the term homogenizes them. It doesn’t allow for any tribal pride. So no Cubanos, no Puertos, no Chicanos, just Latinx. Brought to you by idiot commies of these ethnicity groups taught communism in school by the liberal white woman.

Don’t forget Ebonics… they tried pushing THAT lunacy too.

You know, I actually did forget about ebonics. Also never looked at ebonics that way. But it fits.

Great catch/point!

Some (white) people were well funded for thinking it up, and ever since then, more of them have been well funded for promoting it.

I’ve estimated that my former college professors, white liberal feminists, have made hundreds of thousands of dollars over their careers just teaching mostly other white people white-created ideas on race. Then about the same on class issues. And most of what’s taught is never shared with people at large, including the low-income and black and Hispanic people that it’s primarily about. “Trade secrets” and all.

Most Hispanic people agree with you.

It doesn’t help that “Latinx” sounds like a laxative.

Otherwise, a few are using the -e suffix as neutral. But again, “Latine” sounds much like Latrine, which resurfaces the scatological connection.
