ILLINOIS (NEXSTAR) – The summer surge in COVID-19 spread could extend into fall for Illinois and every other state. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said hospitalizations rose yet again last week by another 19%. Deaths from the virus also saw a large jump: 21% in one week.
The spread of the virus appears to be a problem just about everywhere. Only a few states – Alaska, New Hampshire and North Dakota – saw COVID-related hospital admissions drop last week.
The other 47 states saw hospitalizations remain stable or increase. More than half of states – 26 to be exact – experienced a “substantial increase” in people being admitted with COVID-19, the CDC said.

The CDC (Center for Death and Persecution) says:
“Mask up and more boosters, quarantine yourself, distance and obey !”
Note that they are playing the percentages game again. Had 1 Covid hospitalization last week, had 2 this week. 100% increase in Covid hospitalizations .... panic, we are all going to die if we don’t get the kill shot. By the way, the hospitalizations were for other reasons, but they tested (totally unreliable tests) positive for Covid while in the hospital.

I was forced to lie to my boss once, it really sucked cause she had a double masters in computer science engineering and advanced maths.
It really sucked but I used statistics I pulled from a nether region and poured sugar all over them.
She was able to get the extra 60m funding I needed and it all worked out in the end
but I still feel bad for having to do it.

The latest batch of ‘covid’ tests are better are detecting NON-covid viruses and the flu. Stats will go up, worthless stats that is.
