Is it a performance enhancer to have someone dress as a US border patrolman and chase them through the race?

You are a vewy, vewy bad boy.

Now off to your room! No gruel for you tonight.

(Wow, that is funny!)

The big reason to cheat in a marathon is to have a Boston-qualifying time.

That’s what I was wondering, too.

Probably all 11,000.......

[The newspaper reported the runners were disqualified after missing checkpoints placed every five kilometers.]

Is it O.K. if I were to take a car ride for 4.98 kilometers, check-in and then be driven to the next checkpoint?

I promise to install a custom car horn and have the car horn play “La Cucaracha” between checkpoints.....

Look at your tag line! Then look at this:

"As a national culture, they have no respect for our laws, our rules or our borders. Why should it come as any surprise that they have no respect for their laws, rules, culture or borders"

Conservatism better stop "standing athwart history, yelling, 'Stop!'" and start paddling.

Aw, that's not a marathon. The 1904 St. Louis Olympic Marathon, now that was a race.

...only 14 men eventually completed the race: one after hitchhiking, one after taking a nap, and one—the eventual gold medalist—after drinking strychnine mixed with raw egg and brandy.

Their own performance enhancer was being chased by a pack of wild dogs. Literally. If they ran them like that today, I'd watch.

Is one word I said, untrue?

Not blaming anyone. Simply stating measurable, quantitative and historical facts.
