The demoralization of police lies with the Left and Leftist legislators.
We must support our police, out law makers must support our law keepers.
Better to have local cops that knows the community than storm troopers from DHS, FBI or some yet to be named Federal Police Force.

We need the ability to fire bad cops, which will be MUCH HARDER with Fed troops.

The township in which I live in S.E. Michigan has a population of approx. 91,000. We don't have our own PD but rather rely on the county sheriff's dept.

The same with nearby Mt. Clemens which got rid of their police dept. back in 2005 and entered into a contract with Macomb County.

So over 45 years, 521 small towns disbanded police. 45 YEARS. This ain’t new, it probably actually isn’t scary. And if you work the math on the cities it’ll probably all make sense.
