A rising Republican star tipped by many to be Donald Trump's running mate should he win the presidential nomination has been involved in a clandestine affair for years, multiple sources tell DailyMail.com.
Married South Dakota governor Kristi Noem, 51 – who stresses her belief in 'family values' – and Trump advisor Corey Lewandowski, who is also married, began carrying on in 2019, if not before.
Now news of the relationship threatens to wreck Noem's chances of joining Trump's ticket in a potential rematch with President Joe Biden.
Neither denied the affair when asked by DailyMail.com. The Governor issued a statement attacking us for the timing of the article, while Lewandowski did not respond to a request for comment.
‘He may not be very smart, but it takes big balls to lobby to have your mistress named one of the most powerful people in the country,' one GOP operative told DailyMail.com.
The far-right website American Greatness claimed in 2021 the two had been romantically involved, although it gave no details.

Yes, we all live in glass houses. But even if I don’t support Trump any more, this hurts Trump. It reminds people of his adultery, porn stars, payoffs, sexual assault or whatever they are calling it, and the pending payout for that. It shows his continued bad pick of people, Corey Lewandowski—previously charged with sexual misconduct, destroying his family, and that of Krist Noem. It is bad news all around, something Trump does not need.
Well there you have it. You are deciding she is guilty and acting as though she is with no proof. You just said that. Any source at all and you believe it. As long as there is an agenda behind you and you want so much for it to be true.
None of this is going to help any of those other candidates.

I can understand that because of family values and all that. However, I personally can get past that if they divorce honourably and state that they just grew apart. Especially if kids are not an issue at the time.
Except for chatter about Noem as a potential VP pick. But then it gets spun into how it represents Trump's character or some other way to damage Trump.
