That depends on what the definition of “success” is. Is the shallow and superficial definition “achieving tons of money and cruising”? If so, many of us here are extremely successful while honoring, and following the advice of, the Seventh Commandment.
“Life is short.” Yes. When that life is over is when we truly will realize what actual success is. If fornicating here on earth results in “maximum happiness”, they should go for it. It’s pathetic and fleeting, but free will is a thing.
