Special counsel Jack Smith’s team urged the judge in its election interference case to reject a motion from former President Trump’s attorneys asking her to recuse herself.
“There is no valid basis, under the relevant law and facts, for the Honorable Tanya S. Chutkan, United States District Judge for the District of Columbia, to disqualify herself in this proceeding,” prosecutors wrote.
“Because the defendant’s motion fails to establish any bias by the Court, much less the deep-seated antagonism required for recusal, the Court has a duty to continue to oversee this proceeding.”

(1) A judge shall disqualify himself or herself in a proceeding in which the judge’s impartiality might reasonably be questioned, including but not limited to instances in which:
(a) the judge has a personal bias or prejudice concerning a party, or personal knowledge of disputed evidentiary facts concerning the proceeding;
I would say that stating, in open court, that Trump should be in jail shows bias on her part. This should be a slam dunk, but she is a DemonRat, so it will not be.
So how hard do Trump’s lawyers counter this nonsense, without prejudicing their later case?

Yeah, that disgusting B won’t recuse herself. After it goes to SCOTUS when his case is appealed she needs to be impeached and removed from the bench.
For any doubters then this proves that Chutkan is part of the corrupt fix.
Usually, when there is a Motion to Recuse, the other party to the case keeps their mouth’s shut and does not get involved. If they do, that’s a sure sign there is a biased judge and they want to continue to have that unfair and unconstitutional (lack of due process) advantage over the moving party.
If she does not recuse herself... if any of the verdicts come in guilty they will not stand, but these Democrat activists do not care about that. This is lawfare plain and simple. Getting guilty verdicts will interfere with the election and facilitate back room deals that they feel will be to their advantage.
