Representative James Clyburn (D-SC) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that Republicans opened an impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden because he was “being a father to his son.”
Anchor Kristen Welker said, “Let me ask you about the impeachment inquiry that is going to unfold this week on Capitol Hill. I know you and your Democrats have called this pure politics. But big picture, they’re trying to see if there’s any link between Hunter Biden and the president and his business dealings. Are you comfortable of a family member profiting off the last name in this town?”

A good father wouldn’t let his son become a crack addict
Think it’s possible to be a father to a son without making them a bagman for political bribes.
Gosh, I wish my father would have used his political connections to get me into board positions paying tens of thousands a month despite my lack of any qualifying education or experience to sit on those boards.
This is not what a normal father does for his son.

He actually has a point. Who doesn’t remember those childhood days (as a 40 year old) on their dad’s knee as he taught them about the family Bribery operation. And he teased you and called you a crackhead as he explained how you have to give him half your salary... and you got even by jokingly calling him a pedophile in emails to him? And you always knew he loved you the most even though he showered with your younger sister. But you got even by boning your dead brother’s wife and taking photos of you snuggling naked with her teen daughter.
But dear old dad knew these hijinks were just part of growing up.

Republicans need to scrutinize whether Hunter and his business partners were piggybacking on the foreign and domestic policies of the Obama administration, colluding to advance Obama's green energy agenda, and conning Chinese and Ukrainian investors looking to do business in America.

What logic! In Clyburn’s world the patriarch of a crime family is just a diligent father who protects his children (from talking).
Republicans need to talk to Eric Schwerin since emails from Hunter’s hard drive show Schwerin moving money on behalf of Joe and Hunter while helping the latter handle family expenses. Schwerin received Joe Biden’s “Delaware tax refund check” while he was vice president and he and Hunter talked by phone about Joe Biden’s mortgage.
In February 2014, Hunter advised Schwerin to describe himself as a “close confidant and counsel” to his VP dad. The NY Post reported that Eric Schwerin was involved in the transfer of Joe Biden’s Senate papers to the U of Delaware in March 2010 — which may have included “sensitive” and “classified” documents. By December 2017, Hunter had fallen out with Schwerin and attempted to cut ties with him.
HUNTER UNLEASHED “I terminated you as an at will employee for gross negligence. Also if you continue to sit with friends of mine and relationships that are mine and defame me I will sue you for defamation of character and embezzlement and for the debt with you still have not contributed your supposed 25% share of,” Hunter wrote on Dec. 12, 2017. “ … We are no longer just done as business partners you should consider moving to somewhere in Florida I’ll never go. Naples is perfect you can live in perpetual time share with your parents and talk about what a horrible person I am.”
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
