Do you have any tangible examples to back this up? especially since 99% of the “news” that we are hearing from “ukraine” is pure media propaganda. you know, like the groups of ukranian farmer peasants with pitchforks destroying columns of Russian tanks.........
You dont need “ukraine” to show us anything new under the sun. I would say the USS cole attack in 2000 is a great example of warship vulnerability...........I’m sure theres plenty more I’m not aware of.

Even though we know both sides are waging massive propaganda wars against each other, we do know that UAVs have been used extensively in the war.
It only makes sense to adapt them to operate in water.
Even if you can’t sink a ship, you can damage it enough to put it out of action or to back off putting it out of range with a relatively few cheap drones especially when the enemy has little to no defense against it.

In this digital age anything can be fabricated and presented with the appearance of extreme legitimacy. IMO the propaganda regarding Ukraine is coming from all sides. It’s really difficult what to believe.
Regarding the Chinese threat in that sea, IMO it’s very real. The question is how effective is their navy? How vulnerable is ours or allied navies?
I strongly dislike the war in Ukraine, but it is showing us old standards like tanks and ships are apparently quite vulnerable to some very simple weapons. If that can be believed.
