My boss was late the first day of jury duty because of a flat tire (she lived 45 minutes away from the courthouse and there are no taxis on the long stretch between the two cities). The judge made her go into his chambers and then tore into her for her disrespect.
It all depends on the judge.
Why aren’t the jurors raising concerns about multiple jury duty? Wouldn’t there be financial, business, or personal issues facing these jurors? Jury duty doesn’t pay well.
Quite curious that concerns are not being raised from the jurors themselves.
Fake juries.
“ So this is confusing to me.”
They are packing the jury. Its a crime. But there is no one to prosecute the prosecuting criminals.
Interesting. My husband served on a grand jury recently. He finished his week but was told he may be needed in the future fir the remaining month so he was “on call”.
This whole thing stinks. If DJT wins he should pardon ever damn defendant....on Day 1.
kabuki theater
A communist coup, that’s what’s going on.
Been going on quietly for some time but they seem to be going for broke now.
It raises the question, are they being compensated in other ways?
Off the books, under the table, so to speak.
Does anyone know if the majority of these jurors are government employed? Being DC there has to be a high chance.
The bureaucracy hates Trump... it wouldn’t take much though to imagine some manager is placing certain employees into these juries.
Probably using the same leftist moron slugs over and over again because they are more than willing to convict based on this government’s lies-they-call-evidence.
“they have to in essence claim the bank assessors were accessories to a fraud”
Or rather, they have to claim that the banks defrauded themselves.
That is another good question.
There just aren’t enough real investigative journalists to handle the mountains of corruption we’re facing.
I was called for jury duty several times. My employer would pay our salary/wages if we just signed over the check we were given for jury duty.
Employers do that do be sure you actually had to go that day. Most jury commissioners have a call in system in the morning and they waive the jurors off for the day unless voir dire is on the schedule. Typically, employees treat that as a day off. Exchanging pay for jury duty checks is how HR people recommend this be regulated since a person waived off for the day is not entitled to jury pay and therefore has no check to exchange.
