Harrowing video caught a staffer at the Israeli Embassy in Beijing being stabbed on a sidewalk Friday — the day that Hamas’ former leader called on all members of Islam to wage a “day of Jihad.”
The 50-year-old staffer is seen being stabbed repeatedly by the male assailant after a brief struggle as he lies on a sidewalk, according to a video posted on social media and geolocated by Agence France-Presse to an area about a mile from the embassy.
“An Israeli employee of the Israeli embassy in Beijing was attacked today,” the Israeli Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“The employee is being treated at a hospital and is in stable condition. The motive for the assault is being looked into.”
Beijing police said they have arrested a 53-year-old foreign man in the brutal attack on the victim, whom they described as a family member of an Israeli diplomat.

Have you noticed who the acting president is?
Title fits just fine.
The attacker was not Chinese and the Palestinian embassy is about a mile away.
Nor was he associated with the Israelis.
What are the odds of a foreign national in Chinese who looks like a Bernie Sanders supporter finding and targeting a victim on the street who just happens to be a staffer of the Israeli embassy on his way to work on the one day just designated by Hamas for its supporters to attack Israelis?
The Israelis acknowledge the attack occurred and AFP found imagery of the attack posted online. Probably by someone who was bragging about the attack.
The article says it was a family member of the guy that was attacked. So, an Israeli guy is attacked by another Israeli guy, who happens to be a family member according to police and that is somehow indicative of the Day of Jihad?
Okey Dokey.
Give it another read. The story is referring to the victim as a relative of an Israeli diplomat/employee, not the assailant.
I do believe you are right. I stand corrected.
Care of a complicit “media.”

It isn’t well written, understandable.
