Y-you mean real estate goes up in value? Especially with improvements and in prime locations?! NOOOOOOOOOOO!

In 2008 our home was evaluated for little under $90,000. We sold it in 2016 for $160,000 It recently re-sold for just under a quarter million.

Granted we did make some improvements but nothing major.

Our home value went up enough to raise our property taxes by $2,400. And we didn’t do anything. No no, inflation isn’t affecting me at……….

We paid $175,000 for our little slice of heaven some years back.
Today? We get frequent notices from a variety of lending organization advising us the current value is $270,000 and we should request money from them...LOL...
