While conventional wisdom has long held that Republicans, and particularly evangelicals, are the staunchest allies of Israel in the U.S., the latest bloody exchanges between the state and Hamas militants have revealed fault lines in that critical base of support. Rather than close ranks to back Israeli attacks on Gaza, some right-wing influencers have turned on each other.
For instance, Islamophobic conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer and pro-Russia MAGA influencer Jackson Hinkle, who mere weeks ago appeared to have a friendly relationship on X (formerly Twitter), are now sniping at each other over the conflict. Loomer, who is Jewish, has endorsed Israel’s actions, while Hinkle took a stance against their response to Hamas’ initial surprise attack, disputing reports from their military. He is now encouraging users to subscribe to his premium content for $3 a month to support his work “exposing Zionist propaganda.” Loomer, in turn, is accusing him of sympathizing with Hamas and buying bot followers (his audience has grown by hundreds of thousands this month alone). On Wednesday, she tweeted that Hinkle has “gone off the deep end.”

I ask because Jackson Hinkle is trending on X. Never having heard of him (I doubt you have either) I did a search and I found the Rolling Stones article I posted above. Rolling Stones seems to believe he's a 'pro-Russian MAGA influencer". I don't even know how to process that.

Jackson Hinkle is not a MAGA supporter.
He is a squid socialist, just like that schmuck Jimmy Dore.
Anyone can claim to be a MAGA person, but that does not mean that all, or most, or any other MAGA supporting persons agree with that paricular “MAGA person”.
But leave it to the Left to try to portray “MAGA” persons as some sort of monolith with universal support with each other on everything, and leave it to the Left to make truly extremoist views of some MAGA person as “representative” of the entire movment.

WTH is a “maga influencer”?
I had to ask not long ago to find out what an “influencer” was. Clearly a gen-z or millennial thing.
That social masturbation thing is their world, not conservatives. Most of us know how to find things out without being instructed what to think.
No such thing as a “MAGA influencer”.
Conservatives, by definition, are not influenced by anyone but their own convictions. We are not brainless democrats who obediently do whatever Biden tells them (example: wear a COVID mask and booster).
