As you put away those zombie masks and Halloween decorations, it might be a good time to pull out that box of surgical or KN95 face masks again as respiratory virus season gets underway, especially if you are headed to the doctor’s office soon.
In Santa Clara County, everyone — patients, caregivers and healthcare providers — will be required to wear face masks in public patient care areas in hospitals, clinics, and long term care facilities for the “winter respiratory virus period,” starting Nov. 1 and lasting five months through the end of March.
Alameda, San Mateo, Contra Costa, and Sonoma counties will require health care workers to mask up in patient care areas starting Wednesday, after local public health officials passed mandates earlier this fall requiring seasonal masking rules.

Masks are dirty and gross. Even if you put one on clean, it collects all kinds of bacteria within about 20 minutes.

It is not so much respiratory virus season as it is election season. Masks in WA have been enjoying a come back since June. A friend of mine was concerned about a memory issue and the neurologist refused to see her because she was not vaccinated.

Common, I am not a “Trump basher” but I have some reasonable and understandable issues with Trump. So what? Nobody’s perfect.
Trump is the man of the hour. I think he’s got 2024, DEMONocRAT fraud attempts notwithstanding.
My concern is planning for 2028 and Trump picking a VP who will probably be the frontrunner in 2028. His VP needs to someone who will go after the Left like Trump but ALSO work to reinstate the Constitution as the Supreme Law of the Land, dismantle the gargantuan unconstitutional portion of the feds, and restore constitutional state sovereignty, decentralized government, and individual freedom.
IOW, someone who will MAGA by restoring America’s Free Constitutional Republic!!!
