Not to mention global warming.
Didn’t have this when Trump was president - what’s changed?
It’s all the EV’s and FJB’s fault. /s
I hate to be in the freezing cold to prove that I was right all along.
They should be the ones to suffer.
First guy I heard speculate on the cause was a friend on a break at work a long time ago. He said “I think the ballpark power outages and the ones starting to happen in a lot of cities is partly from cell phones.” “What? They only have little batteries smaller than a flashlight to recharge.” “But all those towers have to be powered and the whole country needs to recharge everything electric.”
We have plenty of natural gas. There’s got to be a policy reason why it isn’t available.
Extracting and selling it equals profit.
Any shortage is due to government.
A few short Trump years later and now the Dims (through Brandon) are all about stopping natural gas to save us from their fantasy warmageddon. That's probably why there hasn't been increased nat gas pipeline capacity.
During the last Kalifornia power ‘crisis’ Newsom actually asked EV owners to not charge their wonderful cars. The government giveth and the government taketh away.
People who put solar energy contraptions on their roof were enticed by the claim they could sell energy back to the grid. A little later they reduced significantly the amount the government would pay for this energy. The ‘reason’ for the reduction was only the wealthy and better off could afford all this crap in the first place.
Wait a minute. The weather channel is projecting a warmer than normal winter for all sections of the U.S. except for the southeast.
Location, location, location, Muhuhahahah...
Aren’t Democrats great?
Still time to prep ping
There was never a problem with electricity in the cold until just the last few years when Liberals screwed everything up.
These Global warming, climate change idiots...blame it on mankind rather than “naturally occurring”....just like everything in the universe.
can’t be....the planet is warming up...haven’t they heard??
My generator is ready.

Won't be toasty, but won't freeze neither.
(From msn.com) :" More than half of the U.S. and parts of Canada, home to around 180 million people, could fall short of electricity during extreme cold again this winter
due to lacking natural gas infrastructure, the North American Electric Reliability Corp (NERC) said on Wednesday."
"In its 2023-24 winter outlook, the regulatory authority warned that prolonged, wide-area cold snaps threaten the reliability of bulk power generation
and availability of fuel supplies for natural gas-fired generation.
“Recent extreme cold weather events have shown that energy delivery disruptions can have devastating consequences
for electric and gas consumers in impacted areas,” NERC said."
(My Opinion) : The electric grid is at risk to all above ground catastrophes; not so the natural gas home heating plants, however electric fans are used to circulate ambient air flow
The Biden plan to cast a "War on Petroleum" products (natural gas, gasoline, diesel) has been shown to be remarkably short sighted and unreliable,
especially since we already have a known high reliance on petroleum for home heating and transportation, not to mention of other products like fibers, paints, plastics, etc., etc.
My suggestion, find a relative or a neighbor who heats with wood, and befriend them , ..or get your own wood burner stove for back-up.
Furthermore, when you add up the additional strain on the electric grid by electric vehicles and the need for transportation,
you will see how unreliable and vulnerable this forced electric economy truly is.
P.S. : Biden doesn't live in an all-electric house ..
