Zelensky on the other hand was elected as the Ukrainian Trump, to clear up corruption (largely put in place by Moscow influence).

This private opulence was all paid for with public money. Embezzlement in the Yanukovych era is said to have taken the form of theft, corruption in public procurement, rigged energy prices, and misuse of carbon-emissions allowances.
Yanukovych and his associates, known as ‘the Family’, are believed to have embezzled as much as $37 billion and stashed it in bank accounts and company shares around the world, including in EU countries such as Austria, Latvia, Cyprus, Italy, and the Netherlands.

Ukraine is ranked 116 out of 180 Nations, in terms of least corruption. Russia is at 137, much worse than Ukraine. Somalia is the worst of all, coming in last at 180. The U.S. is ranked at 24 and the UK at 18. Denmark comes in first as least corrupt country in the world.

Actually corruption in the world’s nations is charted and Russia is far more corrupt than Ukraine, with Ukraine improving over the years and Russia getting worse.
If people are against Ukraine because they are corrupt then they must be against Russia invading and taking control of Ukraine because Russia is more corrupt.
