John Kerry is confident the U.S. can be trusted to act on “climate change” no matter who gains the White House at next year’s election because the democratic process “is like sex.”
The U.S.’s word “is 100 percent percent good,” said Kerry, the U.S. special presidential envoy for climate change, as he assured attendees at the COP28 climate meeting in Dubai any Trump presidency “won’t stop global green transition.”
He made the obtuse correlation between “democracy” and “sex” while speaking at the Bloomberg Green summit, as the outlet reports.

On Sunday, the president of the COP28 climate summit launched a broadside attack on the zero-emission policies being supported by the United Nations, noting that there is “no science” which would demonstrate that stage-by-stage cuts in fossil fuel use will decrease global warning.
Speaking as the chair of the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Dubai, Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber said if you impose a gradual reduction in fossil fuel consumption, you will reduce the advance of sustainable development, and that would take humanity back to the paleolithic period.
He made the comments during a live online event, while answering questions from former UN special envoy for climate change Mary Robinson. Observers noted his statements were in direct opposition to the position of the United Nations and its secretary general Antonio Guterres.
Based on his comment, I’d say Kerry is a catcher rather than a pitcher.

He is indeed weird but, he will matter less and less. His statement that we face a worldwide movement toward net zero, perhaps what his bizarre reference to sex is about, is an idle fantasy. The majority of the world have taken a look at this western obsession and said “Bugger off. We have an economy to develop and ain’t nobody got no time for all that.
