No criticism of what Biden is giving Ukraine?
Not like the good old days of 1968 when the gun stores were still selling army surplus ammo from WW II. I shot up a lot of nazi marked 9 MM ammo back then. Found it corrodes the barrel real quick if not immediately cleaned.
Then came the 1968 Gun Control Law and a sudden squeeze on ammo and firearms by the Lyndon Johnson Admin.
“Today we begin to disarm the criminal and the careless and the insane. All of our people who are deeply concerned in this country about law and order should hail this day.”-— Lyndon Johnson signing the 1968 gun control act into law.
And Thomas J. Dodd, who wrote the 1968 gun control act using the 1938 Nazi weapons law as a pattern...
“No one can predict how many lives will be spared because of this bill, but, if the bloody record of our yesterdays is any measure, millions of future Americans will live to enjoy the promise of many peaceful tomorrows.
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to play a part in this great moment in our time.”— Thomas J. Dodd on passage of the 1968 Gun control act.
I’ve noticed that, too. Seems to turn a blind eye towards the true grifters.
I got lucky. A relative died and me a ton of 44 mag ammo. I don’t shoot 44 mag but a friend does and he trades me 10 pounds of Varget powder for the whole lot. We both think we got the better end of of the deal which is the definition of a good trade.
Lotsa criticisms of Ukraine already posted.
Anyone that isn’t stocked up hasn’t been paying attention. I began when Bill Clinton began running his mouth.
May Johnson and Dodd BOTH rot in Hell.
Biden keeps gaslighting Americans about the “need”
for American foreign aid tax dollars to Ukraine.
Here’s why they DONT need it:
About $113.1B tax dollars went to Ukraine in 2022, according to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget. About $67.1 billion was defense-related. The other $46 billion included:
<><>$26.9 billion for economic support;
<><>$7.9 billion for international disaster assistance;
<><>$6.6 billion in assistance for refugees;
<><>$1.5 billion for assistance for Europe, Eurasia and Central Asia;
<><>plus $3.1 billion for other non-defense spending.
US tax dollars helped Ukraine
<><>pay the salaries of 618,000 educators, 517,000 health workers, and 56,500 first responders
<><>helped sustain critical healthcare services,
<><>helped meet pension responsibilities for 9.8 million people,
<><>assisted 1.3 million internally displaced persons,
<><>provided housing assistance to 4.1 million people,
<><>provided social assistance to 240,000 low-income families
<><>helped subsidize 480,000 persons with disabilities,
<><>bought supplies for farmers,
<><>financed finding markets for small business.
What I know about military strategy and technologies fits in a thimble, but I would say that for a very small country like Israel, especially in that location, the game changer has to be hyper-sonic missiles in the the hands of lunatics like the Iranians and their proxies.
I was checking prices at Academy yesterday and couldn’t believe how high they are already.
I haven’t seen an ammo panic since 2020!
Love’s me some .22 !
I’m okay on .22, .380 and .40, but just bought my first 9mm and haven’t had a chance to stock up yet.
So the ammo business sells and first thing is to claim there’s a shortage and you proles are out of luck.

Vista now owns most small arms production in the US.
There was a reason we had monopoly laws. How about we enforce them?
So is smokeless powder and primers.
Do you mean, WIN231?
Tell me where I can find some CCI No. 35 primers for the .50BMG or .416 Barrett. Not that I would handload cartridges that ridiculous.
Same - I had a ‘looters will be shot’ sign on my house after a hurricane because I had a hole in my roof. I lived alone in the neighborhood and not one person offered to help me in any way.
HOWEVAH- some parents voiced concern about letting their kids trick or treat at my home at Halloween ‘because they were worried about GUNS 🤪’ - and then they asked me if I would help set up an armed roadblock to prevent people from coming in and looting. NOPE -I will protect myself and mine.
They are such hypocrites.
