To be honest, Russia is behind the curve on safety and maintenance anyhow. But you’re right, as the current sanctions continue there are pretty good odds of major incidents.

I am pretty certain that Russian manufacturers are beginning to crank out replacement parts and, in the near future, will begin to sell them at prices that undercut Boeing.
