Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan asked his U.S. counterpart Antony Blinken in a call on Sunday for Washington to use its influence over Israel to halt Israeli attacks on Gaza and the West Bank, a Turkish diplomatic source said.
Turkey, which supports a two-state solution to the decades-old conflict, has harshly criticised Israel, calling for a full ceasefire and for Israeli leaders to be tried in international courts for war crimes, and slammed Western support for Israel.
Washington, Israel's closest ally, has repeatedly said it supports Israel's right to defend itself after the cross-border rampage by Hamas militants on Oct. 7, but has stepped up calls on Israel to act with restraint in its campaign, which has killed nearly 19,000 people, according to Gaza health officials, and laid much of the Gaza Strip to waste.

Well.........here’s an idea. Modeled after the insane Ukraine nuclear agreement, where Ukraine gave up their nuclear arms and the West stated they would protect the Ukraine. How about Hamas, Hezbollah, PLO, Syria, Iran give up all their rockets, bombs, etc, and Israel will agree not to destroy their infrastructure. If, in the future, one of them attempts more terror, Israel reserves the right to destroy whatever is necessary.

The Turks have shipped drones to Ukraine for use in the war against Russia its worth noting that even as Erdogan and Putin hold talks, trade with each other etc.
The REAL FEAR is what Israel will find, and then show the world. That is why many are trying to stop them.
If Turkey had only hired a Biden family consultant it would be a done deal.

I just read that the Hamas bigwigs hiding in Qatar have fled to Turkey. Is even Qatar now fed up with them?
