A University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire staff member sued her employer over being ousted from a position in a campus diversity office allegedly for being “White.”
The lawsuit alleges that when Rochelle Hoffman was promoted to UW-Eau Claire’s interim director of the campus’s Multicultural Student Services office, the school’s former Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Student Affairs Olga Diaz was told by students that a White woman was not fit to preside over a position intended to serve students of color.
“You hired a white woman as the Interim Director?” one student was cited in a federal complaint against the university.
Per the complaint, another student asked, “Do you personally feel white staff can do as effective a job as a person of color, within a space for people of color?”
Hoffman said she felt compelled to resign last year after eight months of intense hostility and staff questioning her “legitimacy” after being promoted to interim director of the campus’s Multicultural Student Services office, the complaint states......
“Despite Hoffman’s exceptional qualifications, however, students, faculty and staff opposed her appointment to Interim Director of MSS solely because she was white,” the complaint claims. “It was exclusively Hoffman’s identity as white that was the issue; criticism was about her race and color, not her qualifications.”

Wherever DEI replaces the meritocracy, the institution turns to crap.
This bs was happening back in the 80s. I was hired by the local boss but un-hired by the state personnel office the next day because I wasn’t black. Flat out told me that. The job was posted for years without being filled because their token hire never applied.
Never worked for a government agency have you.

I remember referring to the roughly equivalent position of 30 years ago, saying that we will have succeeded when a white man is appointed Deputy Equal Opportunity Officer. (In Navy at the time the Equal Opportunity Officer was the commanding officer. The DEOO was the one who ran the EO office.) And today they fired a white woman. Geez.
I was a contracted program manager. Found my job online as a direct and applied. Thought I’d be a shoe-in as I was already doing the job and had received rave reviews. I mentioned to the HR lady that it asked my race. She said, “Yes, I check every day to see if a black has applied. If they don’t fill that part out I just assume they’re white.”. Her meaning was clear.
This is nothing new. Starting in the 1970s, my entire career advancement was delayed and side tracked by Affirmative Action. I lost several promotions along the management track to less competent minorities and women. Corporate upper management did not hide the fact that they were discriminating either.
Lol. A friend of mine back in the 80s in Los Angeles lost her job. Couldn’t find another one. She had a 5 yr old son and applied for assistance. The welfare people, all black, told her that she was white and wouldn’t be approved. This shyt has been going on forever.

Does 30 years of teaching at a state university count? Right before I retired, an outside evaluator was brought in to critique our department. In her final report, she stated that our department needed to be “more diverse,” as she not-so-subtly hinted that there were too many white males like me. It made me very happy when the department hired a white male to replace me.
It’s time we just separate ourselves from these pukes. It’s what they want anyway. Eff em.

In one example, Gay commissioned a “Task Force on Visual Culture and Signage” after the death of George Floyd in 2020. This task force later released a series of recommendations for engaging in what it referred to as the “historical reckoning with racial injustice.”
Among its recommendations reportedly included a mandate to change “spaces whose visual culture is dominated by homogenous portraiture of white men.”
It also said administrators should “refresh” the walls of Annenberg Hall, which “prominently display a series of 23 portraits, none of [which] depict women, and all but three of [which] depict white men.”
The task force never explained who the white men were or why they were on the walls of Annenberg Hall in the first place. The only reasons for the removal of these paintings appeared to be due to their skin color and sex, according to white-biased Gay.
Last year, Gay launched an initiative within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences for “de-naming” any “space, program, or other entity” deemed racist by the faculty and administration.
Moreover, deeming such entities “racist” would be “based on the perception that a namesake’s actions or beliefs were ‘abhorrent’ in the context of current values,” meaning that Harvard would use presentism in order to pass judgment on individuals who lived hundreds of years ago.
“Since then, the university has grappled with denaming multiple buildings, including Winthrop House, named after John Winthrop, governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, and his great grandson, also John Winthrop, a Harvard professor and president,” Rufo pointed out.
In another example, Gay, as president of Harvard, is leading a “sprawling DEI bureaucracy,” otherwise known as Diversity, equity, and inclusion, which “seeks to influence how students speak, think, and behave in relation to race.”
The CRT expert noted that....... Harvard has deleted nearly all DEI materials from its website....... following Gay’s disastrous congressional testimony, in which she declined to say whether advocating for the genocide of Jews is permissible on campus.
Recovered DEI documents through an Internet archive show that Harvard’s diversity administrators urge students to internalize the Critical Race Theory narrative, which is that America is systemically racist, riddled with white-baiting code words like “police brutality,” “white supremacist violence,” and the “weaponization of whiteness.”
Students have also been encouraged to “unpack” their so-called “white” and “male” privileges, and to consider their “white fragility,” which ghetto-nurtured Gay’s DEI documents say is derived from “the privilege that accrues to white people living in a society that protects and insulates them from race-based stress.”
As Breitbart News reported, Gay has been facing nationwide scrutiny since the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks against Israel due to her failure to properly respond to the matter.
The Harvard leadership botched its statement after more than 30 of its student groups signed a pro-terror later blaming Israel for the terrorist attack against itself.
Gay later delivered a disastrous testimony during a congressional hearing regarding antisemitism alongside the presidents of University of Pennsylvania and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Now, the Harvard president’s own Ph.D. dissertation is being called into question over allegations of plagiarism.
Judging people by the color of their skin is wrong - let’s go back to merit and one standard for all...
