Some of my annoying friends do this. Thy say DeSantis the more acceptable version of the person who is going to drain the swamp - which includes all of dc, the media- news, Hollywood, TV, music and sports, academia.

I agree with you, but it doesn’t change my prediction. To get 9 votes, Roberts will need to have the decision based on narrow grounds. What is needed here, and I predict even the rat justices will agree, is a decision that permanently slams the door on this issue, and doesn’t look like a partisan decision. A decision based on a factual finding of non-insurrection could not get 9 votes, and would not permanently put an end to this issue

Self-control is a valuable skill.
Ability to focus is a valuable skill.
Knowing specifically what has to be done is highly important.
Ability to select good people and only good people is an ability Trump has repeatedly shown he lacks.
And it is also important to keep good people around so they can work to do good.
