Donald Trump 'fears Supreme Court could BACK Colorado's decision to take him off the ballot and that three conservative justices he appointed won't want to be seen as political'

Donald Trump has expressed concern that the Supreme Court could back attempts by Colorado and Maine to block him from the Republican primary ballot, according to reports.

Both states have moved to exclude Trump over his role in the January 6, 2021, attack by his supporters on the Capitol.

The states have accepted legal challenges to Trump's nomination that cite Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which says office holders cannot 'have engaged in insurrection or rebellion'.

Trump has privately expressed concerns that the Supreme Court, to which he appointed three conservative justices while president, may side with Colorado and Maine so as not to appear 'political', The New York Times reported.

Despite the conservative supermajority on the bench the former president is worried the court will rule against him, a source told the Times.

There is no cause for any such fear.

The Democrats and disloyal RINOs dug hard and found nothing that would justify such a disability.

I suspect the SCOTUS is twisting itself in knots over this, trying to leave it stand as a state’s rights issue.

I would prefer DeSantis, but I will gladly vote for Trump in the general election.

Trump understands policy issues.

“I suspect the SCOTUS is twisting itself in knots over this, trying to leave it stand as a state’s rights issue.”

Can you cite any case where the Court was concerned with state’s rights, or acknowledged any such concept?

Like, did he ask a question to his lawyers saying, “would the SCOTUS overturn Colorado SC”?

If he did its nothing, because I would ask legal advice too, who wouldn’t?

“SCOTUS”

It needs to understand that after Trump is out of the way, the Democratic wolves will arrive at its doors.

I didn’t think Trump was talking to the Daily Trash. How’d they find this out? Remote viewing? California Psychicks? Wait until Red states start removing Joe Pedo and Camela from their ballots. Two can play this Lawfare game.

The appropriate move for the SCOTUS is to “punt” on this issue. This is a political issue. It’s up to each state to decide. Roberts will persuade Kavanagh and ACB on this.

Is this from someone “familiar with Trump’s thinking” or just someone pulling an opinion from their nether-regions with wishful thinking?

This time, Trump is really really scared because the walls are closing in. The beginning of the end for Trump.
