Nancy Mace: ‘We Are Losing the Fight on Abortion Every Single Day’
Breitbart ^ | 01/01/2024 | Jeff poor

Posted on 01/01/2024 2:10:34 PM PST by ChicagoConservative27

During an appearance on this week’s broadcast of FNC’s “MediaBuzz,” Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) proclaimed her pro-life stance. However, she reiterated her criticism of Republicans and how they are handling abortion.

“You have taken a lot of heat, especially from the right, for saying Republicans have to change the way that they talk about abortion,” FNC host Howard Kurtz said.

“Absolutely, absolutely, and we are losing the fight on abortion every single day. We all know that being pro-life, and I’m pro-life, is the compassionate way forward, is the compassionate policy. But we’re losing the fight because we’re not being compassionate to women. We are throwing it back in their face. You look at the Texas ruling. That is a very emotional ruling. Most women, the vast majority, agree with the woman whose baby had Trisomy 18. That she should have the option to make a decision, not the state, not bureaucrats on a panel in Texas to decide what to do that’s a very intimate and very painful decision for women.”

I know some people want to compromise and other people want to fall on the sword of abortion and are not worried about losing elections because they feel that strongly about it. So where do we go from here?

She is 100% right, even though it is not morally right. Because we are no longer a moral nation. And Milennials and Gen-Z’ers, especially women, are more atheist and far-left than any generaton that proceeded them. It will take perhaps 2 generations to win back the soul of this nation. If it fails, it won’t matter anyway, as the nation will be finished regardless.

Full speed ahead on the national abortion ban I say. Murder should be a crime in all 50 states.

She points out the two dilemmas for conservatists.

1. Should we take a hard stance against all abortions. Period. Even though that drives away votes from conservatives who are pro-life but willing to compromise?

2. Should we vote for conservatives who are willing to sacrifice babies to the abortionists simply for getting more votes?

Look at it this way.... Trump, Nikki, DeSantis, etc.... have ALL compromised their pro-life rhetoric in the interest of getting votes and support.

Talk about abortion is just part of the Swamp’s efforts to reduce the amount of time spent talking about the Swamp and Deep State.

Never cooperate with the attempt to pretend that politics is what it always was. Trump has changed it forever. Populism is ascendant. Eradicate from the public eye anyone who has had a political career.

Earthly election wins or the loss of your eternal soul. Not a hard choice.

When you have even in Republican states like Ohio and Kansas voting overwhelmingly for abortion you know you’ve lost the battle. Its a damn shame but its unfortunately where we are right now

The shedding of innocent human blood does not invite compromise.

She is 100% right, even though it is not morally right.

Nancy Mace is 100% right. She has some good instincts so far.

She got rid of Kevin McCarthy.

And she's right on the abortion issue.

What’s this “fall on the sword of abortion” thing?

You falling for Uniparty propaganda on abortion? That’s fraud denial, particularly for 2022.

Mace is a well-known RINO that the hard left media were trying to paint as “Trump’s running mate” earlier this year. Not to be taken seriously.

Say hello to future President Gavin Newsom.

The primary issue with Roe, aside from judicial fiat, was that it robbed states’ rights.

There is no such thing as a “conservative who (is) pro-life but willing to compromise”.

And Trump’s main issue was getting rid of Roe, not instituting a national abortion ban.

This is the hard truth. Not what we as conservatives want to hear, but undeniably, what we are hearing, and from both sides with the younger voters. These are the voters we have to work with, not necessarily the voters we want.

I don't know that "losing the fight on abortion" is the right way to frame it.

First, we won the fight that it is a Constitutional right. Abortion has been moved back to the several states.

Second, red states are trying to find the right balance of abortion rights between the mother versus the baby, while blue states are trying to make abortion between Democrat and Republican voters.

Third, the new abortion fight will be between young girls and their parents, as a back-door for sneaking in of gender dysphoria, school library books, "alternative lifestyle" sex education, men cum women in sports, etc.

The front-lines have changed. We need to adapt to the new terrain instead of trying to continue fighting the old wars.

if she and losers like her put HALF as much time in to advocating for these precious babies as they do to kill them, we wouldn’t be in this boat.

the republican party needs to turbo charge the message to help expectant mothers, support foster care, streamline adoption and love and care for these babies

There's no room to compromise on anything when we're losing 100% on the issue and it's not even close.
