The Supreme Court said Friday it will decide whether former President Donald Trump can be kept off the ballot because of his efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss, inserting the court squarely in the 2024 presidential campaign.
The justices acknowledged the need to reach a decision quickly, as voters will soon begin casting presidential primary ballots across the country. The court agreed to take up a case from Colorado stemming from Trump’s role in the events that culminated in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Arguments will be held in early February.

I do not have the best memory at times. So forgive this ignorant question. Since when has it been illegal to challenge the results of an election? Is demanding a correction to a result one believes is fraudulent the same thing as trying to overturn a legit outcome?

Trump didn’t try to overturn it like Democrats did with their Russia collusion hoax. All he said to do was to “protest peaceably”
Let the voters decide whether Donald Trump will be the nominee and not the courts.
I’m pretty much used to commies whining about everything, it’s all background noise to me at this point.

But seriously, if the Court does the right thing, get ready for the nationwide riots.

And I also don't trust any of the entities that have ordered Trump's name removed from ballots to follow any court order to return his name should the ruling be in Trump's favor.
They'll just ignore the ruling and argue that the Supreme Court is illegitimate.
They pretty much had no choice.
Me either. Our government is under enemy occupation as far as I’m concerned, EVERYTHING is compromised, so I fully expect them to rule against Trump.
This should be a No Brainer at 9-0 in favor of Trump.
However, I predict something less than unanimous. More like 6-3 in favor of Trump. Democrats are emboldened and have no fear of any repercussions from the people.
I wonder if Chad Gore would be in agreement with DNC position. He actually got a recount.
I predict that Mizzzzz Justice Brow-Jackson will vote to allow removing Mr. Trump from ballots.
I think it not unreasonable to suppose that Ms. Justice Sotomayor will rule AGAINST removing Mr. Trump from ballots. She’s an odd duck.
It’s not about the nomination. It’s about the general election.
