Republicans top Democrats by nine points when voters are asked whom they prefer to control Congress.

“If the elections for Congress were held today, 49% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote for the Republican candidate, while 40% would vote for the Democrat,” according to the latest polling from Rasmussen Reports. “Just five percent (5%) would vote for some other candidate, but another nine percent (7%) are not sure.”

Rasmussen adds that in “the final poll before Election Day 2022, Republicans held a five-point lead and scored a net gain of nine seats to capture a 222-213 House majority.

Don’t worry, the republican’ts will stumble and bumble their way to the election, where they will lose seats in both the House and the Senate. And even IF they manage to retain the House and/or get a majority in the Senate, you can count on them to “reach across the aisle”, “share” power and committee chairmanships (oops, I mean chair-PERSON-ships!), and continue to pretend that they aren’t just democrats in shabbier looking suits.

Yessir...me too.

It turned out to be a barely pink trickle.

Its hard to stay positive when you suspect votes will be manufactured as needed to create a repeat of 2022.

It’s SICKENING that everyone has their number!
They’ve pulled the football away so many times to their constituents, that they’ve become a running joke!

You are at least partially correct. The RINOs love a 1-2 seat majority as then they can controll the agenda. Leadership is often displeased but they can do nothing as if the push the ringers they will just switch parties. Thus Republican leadership prefers a narrow minority as they are not expected to deliver much for their base.

The Republicans have done NOTHING to make me want to vote for them. That said, I’m not going to just let some GD Democrat walking into office unopposed.

“I am trying to be positive but I saw this story in 2022...”

And it was enough to overcome gross voter fraud and help Americans win back the House.

BTW, for those unfamiliar with them, for Surender Monkeys if it said 19 points they would say the same thing.

5 points is large and it took a lot of cheating by the democrats to get the results they did. 9 is huge. I believe the Trump team has a credible anti fraud strategy. Trump will have huge coattails.
