2 Navy SEALs lost at sea were helping seize Iranian warheads being sent to Houthis

The two Navy SEALs who went missing off the coast of Somalia last week were helping seize Iranian weapons bound for the Houthis, the US said in a statement on Tuesday.

The Navy SEALs carried out a "complex boarding" of a dhow, operating out of the USS Lewis B. Puller and assisted by helicopters and unmanned aerial drones, CENTCOM said.

Among what was seized were propulsion, guidance, and warheads for medium-range ballistic missiles and anti-ship cruise missiles, as well as air-defense-associated components, it said.

The Associated Press earlier reported, citing unnamed US officials, that the pair were climbing aboard a vessel when high waves knocked one into the water. The second SEAL then jumped in as part of Navy SEAL protocol to help a comrade in danger, it added. Both vanished.

Valerie Jarrett probably tipped off the Iranians.

Yeah, plus they all almost definitely have GPS location-finding devices and if not a radio back up the Navy can triangulate.

They were probably killed and the WH is telling the Navy to shut up and hopefully people will forget about it.

Sounds like a lie. It was my understanding it was bound for Somalia.
They just want war.
Fight it without white men. Good luck.

Sickening to see the continued abuse of spec ops men. Hit that well identified boat with the 5 inch gun and be done with it.

The abuse of spec ops men continues. We use them because we do not have the stomach for normal operations.

Other articles state they boarded without issue, detained 12 men, and sunk the pirate ship.
Someone is absolutely lying, we just don’t know who.

Yes, SEALS drown. Especially at night in high seas. We lost 4 that way in the invasion of Granada. It is NOT a slam at them, but it is pointing out that they are not movie action heroes. They are men who train very hard and operate in very dangerous places where survival is NOT assured.

But yes, they do drown.

Actually this is quite possible, nearly happened to my brother when a wave smacked him while he was working his way up a ladder. Mangled his arm pretty good but he held on. Water, being very dense, is powerful.
If they were trying to clamber aboard an old dhow in foul weather I can see it happening. And if it happened at night in rough seas, even worse.
I would like to know what happened to that show, though, if it was carrying missiles to the Houthis from an Iranian port it should not have been allowed to go on its merry way, especially if part of the team is missing.

This story didn’t smell right when it came out, and now it’s just getting worse. Believe NOTHING the Public Masters say.

VBSS at night is prob one of the most dangerous/tough missions for many reasons.

Uhhh yes they do. They drown in training and they drown on missions.

VBSS is done in full kit. You wear a flotation device but it typically has to be manually manipulated. If they were swept from the side while laddering in, they could’ve been unconscious, etc. after hitting. Regardless, if they’re likely at the bottom of the ocean for now.

It’s a lot safer to just blow them up from 20 miles away.
