Former President Donald Trump, speaking in a Commit to Caucus rally in Las Vegas on Saturday, promised that he will support Texas in its battle to secure the border, not push back against the state like the Biden administration is doing.
"When I'm president, instead of trying to send Texas a restraining order, I will send them reinforcements," Trump told the large crowd gathered at Big League Dreams sports park in Las Vegas.
"Instead of fighting border states, I will use every resource tool and authority of the U.S. president to defend the United States of America from this horrible invasion that is taking place right now," Trump said during the rally, which aired live on Newsmax and simulcast on the Newsmax2 online streaming platform.
He further vowed that he will "deploy all necessary military and law enforcement resources to seal up the final section of the border."

Mark my words. Biden’s stupid knee-jerk response about his “authoritay” will further erode him with the common-sense voters.
With the national guard already there and the farmers backing them up let President Roomba dispatch some forces.
Abbott could ask for volunteers for assistance and couple thousand would show up.

Actually Trump and his employees need to just stay out of the way and let Texas protect themselves once the criminals get past the border. If they are not going to be stopped when entering, then they are trespassing and are subject to arrest or told to go back to Mexico as it is an asylum country, also.

Then why did Trump brag so much on him when he left office?
There is problem with Trump sending federal troops to Texas for law enforcement.
The Posse Comitatus Act consists of just one sentence: “Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.”
In practice, this means that members of the military who are subject to the law may not participate in civilian law enforcement unless doing so is expressly authorized by a statute or the Constitution.
But Abbot could just move his barracade back away from the border the feds are saying they have control of and create a DMZ for illegals. When they reach the barracade, they are no longer in the immediate border area and are no longer within the enforcement location of homeland. And if they are not aware of the illegals, then the illegals are not under suspicion of federal tresspass but are now enforceable by Texas as civilian trespass. And they don’t need Trump, just left alone.
