National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that it was the Biden administration’s belief long-term peace in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict can only be accomplished by a two-state solution.

STEPHANOPOULOS: What is the end game here? Do you see any prospect at all – he seems to have been ruling it out, Prime Minister Netanyahu, of some kind of a long-term deal that leads to a Palestinian state?
SULLIVAN: Well, the U.S. position on this is very straightforward. The only long-term answer to peace in the region, to Israel’s security in the region, is a two-state solution, with Israel’s security guaranteed. A Palestinian state that also has security guarantees for Israel. That’s what we’re going to keep working for.

What I read is that they are desperate to get $$$ to Ukraine.
The non-existent “two-state solution” where one of the “states” (”Palestine) calls for the disappearance of the other state (Israel) is actually an invitation for continual Islamic attack on Israel.
In self defense Israel should do whatever it takes to annihilate Hamas and possibly Palestine itself. Same with Israel’s Islamic neighbor to the north and Hezbollah.

There have been offers going back almost 100 years, always rejected. Arafat rejected it flat out. I suppose he knew better, didn’t want to end up like Sadat.
So anyway, it’s weird to hear gubbmint types advocating a position that has been soundly rejected by the people they are ostensibly speaking for. Besides, the “2nd state” in the first place is Jordan. What happened to that?

There has been a two solution for 80 years: Israel and Jordan. It has not brought peace. A three state solution is no solution at all. Peace for Israel will only happen with Christ’s second coming. Therefore, until then just deal with it as there is no solution. And, it is time for many to repent and turn back to God which is always the correct solution to issues.

A two state solution was given every chance. All that came of the attempt was Oct 7th. Only completely divorced from reality individuals think that because something would be “nice” it is possible.
What really angers me is how many people were killed, tortured, mutilated, burnt alive & raped without reality intruding into the calculations of these leftist morons.

Palestinians have rejected Israeli offers of a two state solution on at least five separate occasions over the years. Listen to what they chant “from the river to the sea”. They want Israel destroyed. Poll after poll shows they sup0ort Hamas and the ten other terrorist organizations in Gaza and the West Bank. The only reason they are still an issue is because of U.N. support.

For Palestinian extremists, the two-state solution would only be a temporary situation on the way to one-state solution, with the State of Israel being eliminated, and atrocities so dark and large-scale it would make October 7th seem like a picnic.

Right. The fact is there is only one solution - a ONE-STATE SOLUTION.
Either the Islamic state neighbors annihilate Israel or Israel in self defense annihilates her enemy Islamic neighbors.
Neither one will actually happen. The world will put too much pressure on Israel to not protect herself by destroying her Islamic neighbors, and God will make sure visa-versa doesn’t happen.
In The End, after Armageddon, there will only be a ONE STATE SOLUTION - God himself will have destroyed Islam and Israel will flourish. By the end of this century IMO.
Find a “ second state” that recognizes Israel’s right to exist.
Then, negotiate.

As long as ANY Muslim (so-called Palestinian) element advocates, calls for, or espouses the demise of Israel and its right to exist there can be NO Palestine, period. End Hama and raze Gaza to the bare earth. Rashida can go stump for some other non-existent country.
