Republican presidential hopeful Nikki Haley is demanding President Biden “immediately” take a mental competency test following the damning Special Counsel report about his age and failing memory— as at least one congresswoman is moving to try to force him from office.
“Joe Biden can’t remember major events in his life, like when he was vice president or when his son died,” Haley posted on X Thursday night, following the report in which Special Counsel Robert Hur described the president as an “elderly man with a poor memory.”
“That is sad, but it will be even sadder if we have a person in the White House who is not mentally up to the most important job in the world.

Biden will probably end the same way Nixon presidency did. A delegation of senior Democrat congressional leaders will go to the White House an tell him his political support has collapsed and he’ll resign. (I suppose Schumer plays the role of Goldwater0. Then Kamala pardons Joe and all the Bidens.

Her statement is a clear demonstration of the problem with the Republican Party. If the exact same situation involved a Republican president, every Democrat politician and most media pundits would be screaming for the Republican president to immediately resign for both mishandling papers and being mentally incompetent. Democrats use every possible excuse to go on the offensive.
Asking for a mental test is an extremely weak response. It is self evident Biden is mentally incompetent and unfit for office. Why pull your punches? State the obvious and demand immediate resolution of the issue.
Biden got angry when someone suggested that he was losing it. Which is a sign of dementia.

exactly right. There is no longer any argument over his severe cognitive decline or imho even his unelectability. For me the question is how he leaves, when and who replaces him and how they determine that.

I don’t know what a competency test would prove. Biden can’t even talk anymore about the fairly simple connection between burning toxins at military bases that Beau faced in Iraq as a cause of brain cancer among veterans. Now his son died in Iraq. He is obviously unfit on every level.

Biden has been undergoing a competency test for 4+ years, and he has failed from the beginning. In fact, he was incompetent since the beginning of his career, but he mind and memory have deteriorated the greatest since he became VP.
He never should have been a senator, much less a VP and president.
