For years, California Democrats have been hostile to gun owners. California Democrats frequently attempt to erode Second Amendment rights in the state.

A bill in the Democrat-controlled California State Assembly that was introduced on February 16th, would force homeowners and renters to disclose information about firearms they own. Assembly member Mike Gipson, and State Senator Catherine Blakespear are the two leading California Democrat lawmakers pushing this legislation.

I think you meant information rather than inflation. After all, inflation is handed over to ALL government agencies.

For the “Republicans are no different than Democrats, and therefore I’m not voting” bunch, please keep in mind that ANYTHING the Democrats do in California (or elsewhere at the state level) WILL be done (and likely much worse) throughout the country, once the Democrats get full control of Congress and the courts.

...and you might as well wipe you butts with the Second Amendment as neither the Democrats nor their judges will give it any other value.

You don’t have to carry Homeowners unless it is a property under loan. Anymore for many home insurance is out of reach.

It’s a backdoor scheme to get people indicted for insurance fraud. Then they get a felony and lose their guns.

I smell the whiff of a TRO in the air from a Federal Court. The briefs are probably already written.

Why dont they require them to report the amount of gang members or life time criminals? I fully support CA breaking into 2 states. As well as NY and MA.

There are no limits to tyranny...

Particularly when the tyrannized serfs smile and, obediently, keep their eyes on the ground...

Depending on what’s in that bill, non-compliance might give your insurance company an excuse to void your policy.

Wanna bet that providion is in there?

If so, will compliance still be stupid?

Or will you comply because your government has its jackboot on your neck?

Doesn’t look like that provision is in there..

But inclusion of firearms, even if the insurer doesn’t pass along identifying info, might be enough to jack up already sky high insurance rates.

If one complies.

Wonder what insurance companies will do, comply themselves or tell CA to pound sand?

Tell me, ronnie, if insurance companies knuckle under to Deep State, are they as stupid as compliant homeowners...?

BTW, stupid is not a synonym for gutless.
