Former President Trump's high-top sneakers sold out hours after their launch Saturday at Sneaker Con in Philadelphia.
The big picture: The shoes, called "The Never Surrender High-Top Sneaker," sell for $399. The pair, along with two low-top sneakers, and a $99 bottle of "Victory47" perfume and cologne were available for purchase on a new website.

Does ANYbody know where these are manufactured? If the they were USA made, you would think President Trump would have highlighted that fact.
In theory it's no worse, I suppose, than selling MAGA hats and t-shirts, but this isn't his campaign selling shoes to raise funds, this is a private venture of Trump cashing in on his name for personal gain while still actively running for President.
It just seems so cheesy, and unPresidential to me.
If he weren't actively running for office, it wouldn't bother me in the least.

There a building momentum for Trump in the black community. He’s leaning into it with this move. Smart.

My only guess is that he is trying to make inroads into certain demographics. This appeal to sneakerheads gives him a chance to let younger voters know he’s more than a “bad orange man”.

Here’s what the NEW YORK GOVERNOR said, just yesterday, about the current leading Republican presidential candidate:

So please elaborate. The Republican candidate has to be presidential while the democrats are pulling out all the stops.
